Staci came to us back in February after suffering from Fluoroquinolone Toxicity (being floxed) after taking several Cipro pills in January. If you’re unfamiliar with the term “floxed”, this is a condition that stems from taking fluoroquinolones such as Cipro and Levaquin which causes symptoms such as acute pain, loss of mobility, brain fog, and many other debilitating effects.
When Staci came into our office, she couldn’t walk and had to be driven to her appointments. Being floxed was completely life-altering for Staci, but she never gave up and has made tremendous progress throughout her treatment. We are so happy to see her getting better, regaining her health and mobility, and slowly returning to all the things she loves to do.
A bit of a positive story in my healing journey… for the first time in 5 months I was able to take my dog to the dog park. You can tell by the picture how happy he was about that haha. I was not able to walk a couple miles like I used to but I was able to walk just under a mile and enjoy the sunshine (luckily they had some benches so I could take a break). This is a massive improvement in comparison to where I was in January, wheelchair bound at the ER with zero answers as to what was going on. Of course I was sore afterward and I still have issues to work through, but today was a victorious day. Massive thanks Floxie Hope and SunCoast Optimal Wellness for helping me get this far.
